I am restarting the blog again! Since working full time and spending time with my family, this blog has become abundant for a very, very long time.
The past year has been great! Noelle is thriving, and we can now have conversations with her. Not about politics and such, but pretty funny conversations. Mostly she talks to us in Swedish, but on occasion a few English words are thrown out there. She is a darling little girl now, and not a little toddler or baby. Still in diapers, but going on the potty, so this summer I think that she will be out of diapers. She has friends at daycare and a boyfriend, Carl, next door whom she pushes around. They play most nights out of the week after they both come home from school. They are pretty loud too, so hopefully our neighbors are still ok with us...
This past year has included three trips to the US, including WI in the summer, NYC in October and our big trip to LA, Honolulu, and WI over Christmas. My brother got married in Hawaii, and Noelle was their flower girl. She ended up not wanting to walk on her own so I carried her instead. She looked beautiful! And so did the bride!
Noelle also met her first cousin, Everett, over Christmas. Very exciting! We traveled to Italy to visit Drake and Gini also. Lots of trips and a crazy travel budget... No trips are planned until October this year, so staying put for a while now!
Other news are that Noelle is now a big sister. Her little sister was born on June 7 at 19.32, weighing 4295 gr, or 9.7 pounds, 53 cm long, which is 20.8 inches. Her name will be Linnea Elin, but Noelle has already declared her nickname to be Nea.
I will be posting pictures shortly, need to care for Nea now.
