Uncle Drew and Kelly's wedding in Annapolis, MD

Noelle is going through the program, making sure all the details are correct!
And bathtime at home!
With Derek and grandpa by the shore (looking at the horsehoe crabs)
Horseshoe crabs mating. The weirdest type of animal that I have seen!
Noelle has started wearing toe rings. Pretty expense taste if I may add...

Loved the table decorations!
Aunt Gini and I. I know there is no baby in this picture, but Gini is so pretty so I had to include it!
Noelle is wacking me on the head with the wedding program.
Family picture since we were all dressed up :)

Midsummer by Belmont Harbour

We celebrated midsummer by Belmont Harbour, organized by our friend Therese and her little boy Viggo. Great fun and we ended up being there from 2 pm to 8 at night! Even Uncle Drake and Gini made it for a quick visit!

One of Noelle's fun time is to sit on Derek's shoulders and holds on to his hair. He has become a bit balder lately... baby grip is no lie...
Pretty flower baby!
Derek took a swim in Lake Michigan. He was so hot and needed to cool off.
Getting ready to dance around the midsummer pole. The babies were watching from the middle. Here Noelle is with Viggo and Emma

9 month check-up

Yesterday, Noelle went for her 9 month check up. She is tall and slender, weighing 17 lbs and 09 oz, which in kg is 7.8 kg. Her height is 29 inches or 74 cm. She has 5 teeth and a helmut of hair. Perfectly healthy!

Teeth and Hair

As you can see, Noelle has grown a lot of hair and two sharp teeth (ouch for mom). She has cute hairbands to keep her hair out of her face, thank you Grandma S. I'll have to post a picture soon with those as well.
So I have decided to set aside a few minutes each Sunday to update this blog. I do it too seldom, so I apologize, but time does not always allow me to. And when it does, well, then there's the house to clean... I will make a stronger effort!

Here she is showing off her two bottom teeth. Well, her only teeth, I should say. She has one on its way out on the top too, but it has yet to break the skin. She has taken the drool to a whole new level though, so it won't be long!
Noelle is waving these days. She claps her hands when we sing "if you're happy and you know it..." (but in swedish). She crawls like a race car driver and she is into obstacles now. She climbs underneath our diningtable and climbs over the bars. Great fun! She is so fun!
For some reason, this picture really reminds me of my brother. I think it's something with the eyes - those of you who know him - what do you think?

Cheerios Fun!

The Ocean of Cheerios

So, I sometimes, I leave for work before Derek, and he is supposed to be in charge... somehow, Noelle gets hold of the Cheerios box and holds it upside down, and the Cheerios pour out of the box. Noelle thought this was great!
So cool to move the legs around these little rounds things... And, what a perfect way to practive my motor skills!
But, what a cutie - so who cares that we have cereal all over the floor!

This and that!

Finally Noelle got to meet her Uncle Drake - he was the last, but not the least, family member to meet and greet. Noelle is so happy the day finally arrived, so she had tears of joy!

We made a Cinco de Mayo pizza cake! Happy Cinco de Mayo!

This was the last of the original mommy group. Baby Milla moved back to Sweden with her mom, Emma and dad, Johnny. You will be greatly missed, but we appreciate all the fun we had together!
