Linnea and Noelle

Linnea is now 3 weeks and 2 days old. She has gained a lot of weight, and weighs now 4790 gr. She eats a lot and I sometimes have a feeling that I have done nothing but nursed all day. But of course that's not the case, as I have taken the role as a housewife pretty well. This includes cleaning, cooking and nagging on my three family members :). Noelle is still a great big sister, and I think that she feels that this is the way it is now. We are four and not three anymore. We spend a lot of time together swinging and taking walks all four of us (after daycare of course). I put Noelle to bed, and Derek will then care for the little one. It feels nice having that time just the two of us, singing and reading a book, and drinking välling.

Linnea is kind of alike of how Noelle was, but also very different. She is curious like Noelle, and wants to stay awake even though she is tired. She does spend more time sleeping than Noelle did, and she also cries a lot more. She seems to have stomach aches so we're trying some drops now to see if that helps. But crying a lot more isn't really that much, just more than Noelle did. So it would be wrong of me complaining, considering how other families have it. But you can only compare with your own experiences... Linnea is very strong, she can hold her head pretty good, and we spend some minutes a day doing tummy time. She kicks around in Noelle's old baby gym, and of course gets a whole lot of cuddling. We go for walks, and we go and pick up Noelle at daycare. So trying to stay active.

Life is good, though frustrating at times. I feel it is very different having two kids compared to one. Not too over-protective when it comes to germs this time around. Impossible to be if you ask me!! I am finally posting some pictures of my two little girls!
